Trama del Film

Il dottor Philip Ritter, esperto chirurgo plastico che presta assistenza medica in un carcere femminile, decide di modellare il viso sfigurato della psicopatica Lilly sulle sembianze della pianista Alice Brent della quale è perdutamente innamorato ma che è promessa in sposa ad un altro uomo. Ritter è convinto che il nuovo, angelico volto possa trasformare l'indole della criminale e la sposa, ma le conseguenze sono tragiche: Lilly non ha affatto cambiato carattere e quando Alice rompe il fidanzamento per tornare da lui, il dottore si trova a gestire una difficile situazione combattuto tra la furiosa gelosia dell'una e l'amore dell'altra.
